Hittite Expands Power Detector Line with New RMS, Log Detector/Controllers & SDLVAs
Hittite Microwave offers the HMC614LP4E and the HMC714LP5E , the first single and dual integrated RMS power detectors capable of simultaneously measuring the instantaneous (RF envelope) power and true RMS power while providing a direct read of signal crest factor. Differential input sensing range is up to 72 dB to ±1 dB detection accuracy.
The HMC610LP4E is a single channel, high accuracy true RMS power detector which operates from 0.1 to 3.9 GHz, with 75 dB of differential input sensing range.
The HMC-C054 hermetic, connectorized RMS power detector module operates from 0.01 to 2 GHz, with ±1 dB detection accuracy over an input sensing range of 70 dB, and is specified for operation from -55 to +85°C.
Hittite's complete family of Logarithmic Detector/Controller products spans 50 Hz to 10 GHz. The HMC600LP4E delivers 75 dB dynamic range from 50 MHz to 4 GHz. The HMC601LP4E is pin compatible with the HMC600LP4E and delivers 74 dB dynamic range from 10 MHz to 4 GHz. The HMC602LP4E provides up to 72 dB of dynamic range from 1 MHz to 8 GHz.
The HMC611LP4E operates from 1 MHz to 10 GHz, with up to 69 dB of dynamic range, and is also available in die as the HMC611. The HMC612LP4E is optimized for low frequency applications from 50 Hz to 3 GHz, with 75 dB of dynamic range and very wide video bandwidth. Ideal for cost-constrained applications, the HMC713MS8E is a 54 dB dynamic range Logarithmic Detector/Controller which operates from 0.1 to 2.7 GHz.
The HMC613LC4B, is an industry first MMIC SDLVA that operates over 0.1 to 20 GHz, is housed in a 4x4mm ceramic SMT package and delivers a logging range of 59 dB. The HMC-C052 is a hermetic connectorized wideband SDLVA module which operates from -55 to +85°C.
