Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, announces the release of two connectorized GaAs MESFET I/Q mixer modules for use in point - to - point radio, military, test equipment and sensor applications from 20 to 38 GHz. The HMC-C046 is a passive I/Q Mixer module that provides 24 dB of image rejection, 42dB of LO to RF port isolation and a consistent +23dBm of input IP3 across the frequency range of 20 to 31GHz. This dual double balanced mixer module is carefully designed to ensure exceptional amplitude and phase balance while limiting the conversion loss to a nominal 10dB. The HMC-C047 is designed to operate over the frequency range 30-38 GHz and delivers 17dB of Image rejection, 35 dB of LO to RF port isolation and +19dBm of input IP3. Both modules require a nominal +17dBm of LO power and can be used as either image reject mixers or single sideband upconverters depending on the application. The HMC-C046 and HMC-C047 are conveniently housed in a miniature RoHS-5 compliant hermetic module that features removable SMA connectors which can be detached to allow direct connection of the I/O pins or even complete connector replacement in the field. All connectorized module products are available from stock and can be ordered via the company’s e-commerce site or via direct purchase order.
