This 1 x 4 beamforming network is designed for use in military airborne radar environments. The unit configuration incorporates one 180° hybrid feeding two 90° hybrids resulting in a 0°/90°/180°/90° phase structure at outputs 1 through 4, respectively. The octave band device offers low loss and moderate power handling capability in a compact housing.
