Valpey Fisher and Precise Time and Frequency, Inc. Announce Global Sales & Distribution Agreement
Leaders in component and system solutions for communications and military applications combine forces
HOPKINTON, MA & WAKEFIELD, MA (USA) – July 27, 2011 – Valpey Fisher Corporation (NASDAQ: VPF), and Precise Time and Frequency, Inc. (PTF) today jointly announced an agreement in which PTF products will be sold and distributed worldwide by Valpey Fisher -- expanding its line of high performance integrated products for timing and frequency control. Terms of the agreement were not announced.
A privately-held company, Precise Time and Frequency, Inc. will continue to be active in the design, engineering, and manufacture of its frequency, time, GPS and switch products. New products will continue to be developed with input from new and existing customers.
Through this agreement, Valpey Fisher will productize the line of PTF products and market them under the Valpey Fisher brand. Products will be sold and distributed through the direct and indirect global sales channels of Valpey Fisher.
Over the next 60 days, PTF products will be integrated into the Valpey Fisher product family through creation of new product classifications, models and product numbering, and the integration of the products into Valpey Fisher’s product literature, websites, and catalogs.
