State College, PA - June 29, 2011 -- Remcom is pleased to announce public training for XFdtd® and Wireless InSite® in San Jose, CA, from August 22-26, 2011. In addition to each two-day product track, a new, optional personal workshop will be offered. A personal workshop appointment offers attendees an opportunity to work on their projects one-on-one with Remcom's engineers, mastering specific features, creating customized scripts, and more. Also new is the Wireless InSite course material, which will be updated for the next release, due out later this summer.

Product Tracks and Dates:
• XFdtd Track: August 22-23
• Personal Workshops: by appointment only on August 24
• Wireless InSite Track: August 25-26

Workshop appointments will be issued on a first-come, first served basis, and are especially advantageous for those attendees that will be in San Jose for the duration of the week to attend both product tracks.

Jim Stack, Remcom's training, applications, and consulting manager, said, "The workshop idea was initially conceived to maximize value for those customers attending both product tracks; however, it is ideal for anyone that has specific issues to review with Remcom's engineers. It also gives Remcom staff an opportunity to get to know our users better and to learn more about their individual applications, work processes, and unmet needs as we plan the next releases of our products."

Remcom training courses provide new users of the software an opportunity to master the products quickly and easily and enable experienced users to exploit the software more productively. The courses cover the theory, use, and application of Remcom's software tools and include lectures, discussion, and example problems. Much time is devoted to hands-on practice during which instructors work at the computer with the attendees.

The training is complimentary for those with current Remcom Professional Support (RPS) contracts. In addition, free registration is offered for one person per company regardless of RPS status.

Additional information and registration forms can be found on Remcom's website via the San Jose Training web page.
