Frederick, MD – May 18, 2011 - Aeroflex / Inmet of Ann Arbor, Michigan has announced that the manufacturing of all Aeroflex / KDI-Resistor products has been moved from Whippany, New Jersey to the Ann Arbor location. “With this line of Surface Mounted Products, we will be able to carry the KDI technology principles forward,” according to Craig Lindberg, president of Aeroflex / Inmet. The product group includes a comprehensive variety of low and high power surface mounted devices for the wireless infrastructure, telecommuni-cations, medical and defense markets. Included is the new technology enabling the use of environmentally safe aluminum nitride resistors, terminations and attenuators designed as an alternative to similar components using Beryllium oxide ceramic.
