HOPKINTON, MA - Jun. 30, 2010 - The National Quality Assurance (NQA), U.S.A., an accredited organization under the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board, has assessed and approved Valpey Fisher Corporation (NASDAQ: VPF) for ISO 9001:2008 certification. The ISO 9001:2008 standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:

• needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements

and

• aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The Certificate of Registration by NQA certifies that the Quality Management System of Valpey Fisher fully complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. “NQA audits our Quality Management Systems annually with a full recertification every three years. We have been certified since 1997. This year we added our new Microwave Products Division to our certification scope furthering our commitment to the highest quality products,” says Matt Garvey, Quality Assurance Manager at Valpey Fisher Corporation. Mr. Garvey has over 25 years of experience in the electronic manufacturing industry and is an ASQ-Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (ASQ-CMQ/OE).
