CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA, September 18, 2009 - Carlisle Companies Incorporated (NYSE:CSL) announced today that it has acquired Jerrik, Inc., a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of highly engineered military and aerospace filter connectors.
With annual sales of approximately $20 million, Jerrik’s highly customized products are used in environments where reduction of electromagnetic interference and transient voltage suppression is critical. Jerrik has earned key positions on commercial aerospace and military platforms with the world’s preeminent aerospace and defense contractors. The company is located in Tempe, Arizona and will operate as part of Carlisle Interconnect Technologies.
The rapid growth of defense electronics and avionics throughout military and commercial aerospace platforms is driving the demand for highly engineered specialty connectors. Jerrik’s connectors are designed and used in applications that must adhere to extremely stringent design and use standards. Jerrik’s products are used in high performance wire and cable assemblies designed by Carlisle Interconnect Technologies.
