Lowell, Massachusetts—October 13, 2009—M/A-COM Technology Solutions (M/A-COM Tech), a leading supplier of semiconductors, active and passive components and subassemblies for radio frequency (RF), microwave and millimeter wave applications, recently announced the addition of Phillip (Phil) Stathas to its leadership team as Director of Information Technology (IT). Phil is responsible for directing all IT activities throughout the company’s global organization.
Phil has more than 27 years of experience in the Semiconductor, Components and high volume manufacturing industry. Nine of those years were spent with M/A-COM, where he directed the company’s management information systems activities. One of his more significant contributions was the installation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning System for the entire company. For the past few years, Phil has served in senior leadership IT positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, CMGI/Modus Link Corporation and Thermo Electron.
