Munich, June 15, 2009 — The CDMA Certification Forum (CCF) has validated the Rohde & Schwarz solution for testing the audio characteristics of CDMA2000 devices. Since the same test system has already been validated for GSM and UMTS test cases, the newly acquired CDMA2000 support makes it the world's only platform that can handle all three standards.

Implementation of CDMA2000 test specifications has been underway for two years with the objective of creating uniform quality standards. Rohde & Schwarz actively supports the CCF in its efforts to promote the acceptance of CDMA2000 certification and to optimize test procedures.

The Rohde & Schwarz test system consists of the R&S UPV audio analyzer and the R&S CMU200 radiocommunications tester. The new R&S UPV-K9/-K92 application software solutions and the corresponding R&S CMU200 options for CDMA2000 are now available from Rohde & Schwarz.
