Jack Redus, Project Manager, M/A-COM Tech said: “Wireless data usage and penetration is increasing exponentially, as is the need for higher capacity backhaul channels. Our new Point-to-Point product family is comprised of quality, high performance components, including the new attenuator and the oscillator product line. M/A-COM has always been a leader in the creation and production of high performance microwave radio products. These products are another example of our real commitment to producing high quality and innovative products and solutions that our global customer base has come to rely and depend on.”
M/A-COM Tech: Voltage Variable Attenuator: MAAV-008988-PKG003
The M/A-COM Tech Broadband Voltage Variable Attenuator is designed for applications that require high dynamic range linearity. The RoHS compliant QFN package is compatible with 260o reflow temperatures and has an MSL 1 rating. The MTTF is >1,000,000 hours over the full operating temperature range of -40 to +85oC
M/A-COM Tech: Point to Point Voltage Controlled Oscillators: MAOC-009259-PKG003 through MAOC-009270-PKG003
The M/A-COM Tech Point-to-Point Voltage Controlled Oscillator product line is an InGaP HBT- based voltage controlled oscillator designed for frequency generation without the need for external matching components. The VCO is easily integrated into a phase lock loop using the divide–by-two output. The extremely low phase noise makes these parts ideal for many radio applications including high capacity digital radios.
The 5 mm PQFN package has a lead-free finish that is RoHS compliant and compatible with 260o reflow temperature. The package also features a low lead inductance and an excellent thermal path. The MTTF is >1,000,000 hours over -40 to 85oC.
M/A-COM Tech - Point-to-Point Voltage Controlled Oscillators
The Product line of Point-to-Point Voltage Controlled Oscillators and M/A-COM Tech’s Voltage Variable Attenuator will be displayed during the European Microwave Week show, 27th-31st October, 2008. The complete range and capabilities of each line will also be unveiled during the show in Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts, M/A-COM Tech is building on some 60 years of experience to develop and manufacture active and passive products, including Si and GaAs based semiconductors from facilities in Lowell, MA and Torrance, CA. Infrastructure products will continue to be provided by the Company’s facility in Cork, Ireland and Laser Diode products in Edison, NJ.
