Valpey Fisher Corp., a provider of high performance integrated products for timing and frequency control announced its latest product offering: the VFH5070, voltage controlled crystal oscillator, which offers wide pull range for military applications. The device is available across the military temperature range of -55° to +125°C in a 5 x 7 mm SMD package.
Introduced and showcased at MILCOM 2011 (booth #2025) in Baltimore, MD, the VFH5070 offers output frequencies from 1 to 80 MHz in a LVCMOS output with supply voltages of 3.3 V, or 5 V. For tracking accuracy of a PLL design, the device’s absolute pull range minimum is ±100 ppm. The device meets military standard Group A, B, and C testing requirements.
