Looking Past the Dog Days of Summer

As we enter the "Dog Days of Summer," it's a busy time here at MWJ. While sensible folks are enjoying vacations on the beach or mountain retreats, we're working double-time to publish two issues in August. Along with the "Satellite and Radio Communications" issue for August, we'll be producing the annual "Military Microwaves" supplement, our biggest and most popular special supplement of the year. Last year's edition was a record breaker at 100 pages strong, and we're expecting to meet that goal again in 2011.

If you would like to be included, please email a product description of approximately 80 words to kgermani@mwjournal.com. A high resolution photograph (300 dpi, jpg) can accompany the product description. The deadline for submissions is August 1.

With MTT-S IMS2011 behind us and summer kicking in, many of the industry's marketing folks may want to take a little breather. That is, if it weren't for all those action items we signed up for at IMS. I know I have a few. At this year's show, I set a personal record for soliciting future papers from exhibitors. Now I just have to chase authors for their content. If you missed my invitation to submit a technical article or product feature for consideration, please feel free to contact me or any of our editors. With 600 exhibitors at IMS, it was hard to see you all.
