SunCastle Microwave LLC, specializing in innovative microwave and antenna design, announces the availability of its new product: 500 MHz to 20 GHz High Gain Omnidirectional Antenna, patent pending. This versatile revolutionary small size omnidirectional (fixed on the horizon) antenna, combines high gain and over a decade of bandwidth, which will be particularly useful in vehicular, UAV, broadcast and military applications because it will significantly increase the range of coverage on mobile platforms.

This 4.25 inches in diameter, 5.5 inches long antenna boasts performance from 500 MHz to 20 GHz, a < 7 dB return loss, pure passive gain (transmit and receive) with gain on a ground plane from 5 dB to 18 dB (7 dB at 1 GHz) and gain on a mast from 1 dB to 12 dB.

Marijke McCandless, CEO of SunCastle Microwave LLC, says “Every once in a while an invention comes along that represents a leap in thinking in a particular industry. This truly novel design represents one of those leaps and SunCastle is proud to offer it.”

SunCastle can create custom versions of this antenna with different gains, covering different frequencies and with flexible input options.
