To expand its aerospace capabilities in Asia, Thales has opened new regional headquarters in Singapore. The new 6000 m2 site will house around 150 employees and this move to a new, bigger and more efficient facility is seen as providing the capability to address the rising number of business opportunities throughout the region.

Based in Singapore since 1993, Thales’ aerospace business in Asia is the regional hub for the Asia Pacific Region. It offers all operators in the region a one-stop-shop for marketing and sales, customer support, repairs and maintenance. The company delivers a full range of aerospace systems along with associated support services.

Offering a full range of state of the art testing equipment, the regional Singapore hub handles maintenance and repairs for most of its components, including all computers and display systems for commercial jet, regional aircraft and helicopters. It has also recently expanded to electrical and power generation equipment. The new headquarters, which may be further expanded in the future, is also planned to house other Thales activities.
