MFG Galileo Composites announced that Tony Drake has been assigned general management responsibility for the company’s manufacturing operations in Opp, AL and Adelanto, CA. Drake was promoted to General Manager of sister company MFG West in February 2010, where he had served as research and development engineer since 2008.

Drake brings experience in the design and production of composite radomes, as well as more than 20 years of professional experience with composites molding, composite marketing, product development, applied composites design, and research and development. His experience includes thermoset and thermoplastic resin systems, hybrid pultrusion technologies, domes, radomes and other RF transparent composite structures.

In addition to the manufacturing plants, MFG Galileo Composites has an engineering and sales office in Reno, NV.

MFG Galileo ground-based and shipboard radomes support L-band through Ka-band applications. The company has an installed base of more than 500 radomes around the world and is part of Molded Fiber Glass companies (Ashtabula, OH).
