Noise XT (formerly Aeroflex-Europtest) is exhibiting at the European Microwave Conference as part of European Microwave Week at CNIT in Paris. This is the first public exhibition by Noise XT in Europe since the buy-out by employees of Aeroflex-Europtest.

Noise XT will be offering a free software upgrade for customers for PN9000, PN9500 and DCNTS systems. The software, valued at $3,000, offers the latest features and product improvements for all Noise XT products built since 1993.

Noise XT will be exhibiting its well-known phase noise product line. Noise XT products are used throughout the world for high-performance phase noise and jitter-sensitive applications such as ultra-low noise crystal, surface acoustic wave (SAW) and optical-electrical-optical (OEO) microwave oscillators; RF and microwave amplifiers; pulsed microwave for radar; continuous wave RF; and other demanding noise applications.

"This is an excellent year for Noise XT," said Guillaume de Giovanni, President, Noise XT. "Since we re-launched the company in January, customers have been engaging with us to provide our best-in-class phase noise products to improve their product designs and manufacturing yields. We embrace the role of technology enabler-we help customers stay ahead of their competitors."

At European Microwave Week 2010, Noise XT is featuring its unique Dual Channel Phase Noise Test System (DCNTS). The DCNTS is a two-channel phase and amplitude noise analyzer designed with a dual demodulator architecture that allows the test system to use cross-correlation to cancel its internal noise. The resulting tests are similar to comparing the output of two separate systems, while displaying only the similarities and rejecting the differences. The residual noise measurement front-end includes all the necessary hardware to automatically measure noise on 2-port devices, either in RF or microwave frequencies. Pulse compatible, the DCNTS is ideal for the most demanding aerospace and defense applications.

Noise XT products are available in 12 weeks upon receipt of order. Products are configurable; pricing is available upon request. The software upgrade is provided free to Noise XT customers whose systems pass a compatibility check.
